AIR HUJAN: Berkah atau Musibah? Hujan merupakan bagian dari siklus hidrologis yang berlangsung secara berkelanjutan. Pemanfaatan air hujan menjadi hal penting agar mempunyai nilai tambah dalam pengelolaan lingkungan. Air hujan yang tidak dimanfaatkan dapat menimbulkan banjir atau genangan air dan menjadi breeding site perkembangan nyamuk. Guna meningkatkan manfaat tersebut, Fakultas Kesehatan Masyarakat membangun Unit Rain Harvesting (pemanenan air hujan) dengan menampung air hujan yang tertangkap oleh atap gedung dan menyalurkannya menuju Ground Container. agar menjadi sumber daya air yang bermanfaat lebih. Pembangunan unit ini juga untuk mendukung capaian UI GreenMetric World University Rankings. Hasil pemanenan air hujan tersebut bisa dimanfaatkan untuk kebutuhan personal hygiene dan siram taman yang ada di lingkungan Fakultas. Pembuatan unit Rain Harvesting akan dilakukan secara berkelanjutan sehingga setiap Gedung di Fakultas tersedia unit Rain Harvesting.
